For this week’s challenge, we want you to become a documentary photographer and attempt to capture a candid moment of a person, place, or thing.
On our daily walk around the field adjoining our neighbor’s barn, Max and Berkley suddenly erupted into hysterical barking when faced with this sartorial outrage. I mean, please, my boys are just exhibiting their inherent good taste, and Prada, the mule, really needs a little guidance.

LOL – who in heaven’s name made that poor mule wear the coal?!?!??! Wonderful story!

Prada needs a new stylist. That wrap would make me bark too.

Of course little red plaid coats are perfectly acceptable on the boys, right?

Hello Leya,
Maybe they want one but they are not going to have it! Only red plaid is allowed on their little Scottish bodies! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for commenting.

It seems to me that someone was inspired by Dolly Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors”. Prada is totally in her own world and is probably thinking these two are in a jealous rage. We should all be so detached, right? Good photo Mz Barb.

“Coat of Many Colors” indeed. Prada the Mule just can’t quite imagine what all the fuss is about. Thanks, Dorothy.

Perhaps, their barking has more to do with the Coat of Many Colors. (I see another commenter has already mentioned this. It is the first thing I thought of.) It didn’t work well for Joseph in the Old Testament. Maybe, in time, Max and Berkley will warm to Prada’s glorious multi-colored coat. 😉

Oh, it was ALL about the coat, Judy. It’s getting dirty now so it isn’t quite as startling to the boys anymore. So glad I happened to have my camera with me that day!

Love the storyline, the Westies may not appreciate the fashionable Prada, but that sure is a statement coat!

Max and Berkley are critiquing the mule”s attire- not sure if they approve but they certainly are giving their opinion – too fun!

If you could hear the barking, you’d know they definitely don’t approve. And we all know mules shouldn’t wear that much color, right?

I think Prada is a fashion guru – big circles and bold colours are this seasons colours. So fashionable! 😀

I’ll pass the word on to Max and Berkley and see if we can render a change of their opinion! Doubtful….LOL.

This is hilarious. As Diana said, the horse looks like a pinata! 😀 I wonder if the horse felt magnificent, silly or high class wearing that fashionable piece of clothing. I think it suits the horse!
