Boxes, tanks, wrappers: for this week’s Photo Challenge, show us something that contains something else.
While in Colorado recently, I visited my brother and his wife. They live in an adobe-style house nestled in the Rocky Mountain foothills and have a wonderful collection of Acoma Indian pottery. In this photo we have two containers in one: niche contains pot.

I remember seeing these niches when the house was being built- great choice to fill them!

Di, you’re thinking of my sister’s three niches in her new house in Colorado. I’ll post about The Three Niches From Hell sometime soon. This is my brother’s house and he custom-built these little niches here and there in the adobe house. It’s just perfect. No wonder your discerning eye thinks this is a great choice!

That is one very beautiful piece of pottery !No wonder it’s in a niche on its own !!! I’d probably put a chain and padlock on it, too … 😉

I’ve tried to figure out how to smuggle one of those pots out of his house but to no avail. So I’ll have to remain happy with pictures. Thanks, M-R.

Gosh, to think they’re ‘native art’ ! – any gallery would be proud to show them, I’m sure …
So I thank you ! 🙂
